How to connect a printer to your handheld devices
Before you can share a printer, it must first be set up , connected, and powered on.

On your client computer, open the devices and printers by pressing the windows key and go to control panel then devices and printers. Right-click the printer you want to manually enable and click printer properties. Under advanced and driver, note the name of your printer driver. Connect to your host computer and go to the manufacturer's website of the printer driver. On the host computer, download the printer drivers associated with your printer. Make sure that the download matches (or closely matches) the existing printer driver at your client computer. If prompted, select the host's operating system. In your host computer's system tray, right-click the gotomypc icon and click preferences.
If you continue to see the ”windows cannot connect to the printer” error message, your printer may not be properly installed on your pc. This usually happens if you had minor issues when you installed the printer. You can get around this printer error by removing and reinstalling the printer. Access set tings by pressing windows + i at the same time. Select devices on the settings window. Choose printers & scanners from the sidebar on the left. Select your printer name on the right pane and choose remove device. Select yes in the prompt to uninstall your printer. Unplug and replug your printer into your pc.

However, if windows does not auto-detect your printer, proceed to the next step.
Windows 10: right-click on the windows logo at the bottom left and select “settings”. Then click on “devices” and on the right “devices and printers”. Windows 8: call up the control panel by typing “sys” on the start screen – then the win8 search opens with the search result for the control panel. Select the item “show devices and printers” there. Windows 7: press the start button at the bottom left of the screen and select the “devices and printers” item on the right. Add your printer now click on “add printer” at the top of the window (see picture).
Step 3: Connect your printer
Before starting wireless connection setup 1. Press the [ setup ] button (a) on the printer. 2. Use the button (b) to select [ wireless lan setup ]. Press the [ ok ] button. When the screen left above is displayed, go to the step 4. When the screen right above is displayed, go to the step 5. 4. Press and hold the wps button on the wireless router. - go to 7. 5. Select [ wps (push button) ]. Press the [ ok ] button. 6. Press and hold the wps button on the wireless router. 7. Press the ok button on the printer within 2 minutes.
Step 5: Connect the printer to the computer
Before connecting this printer to the network, confirm the following two items, (a) and (b). (a) wireless router (supporting ieee802. 11b/g/n) your wireless router is the device that connects the network devices in your home (computer, printer, and so on) to the internet and allows communication between those devices on your home network. A wireless router is necessary for the procedure described here. To use your printer over a wireless connection, your wireless router must already be set up. (b) the computer to be used with the printer must be connected to the network. In order to confirm whether the computer to be used with the printer is connected to the network, try to browse the internet website from the computer.
